What We Do

Brief explanation regarding what Surveyor Samudra do on their assignment for Marine Surveyor in Indonesia.

– Draft Survey; for determining the cargo loading or discharging from the vessel.
– In Transshipment; barge loading monitoring, check quantity by barge draft survey and ensuring quantity distribution in good order as per B/L.
– Discharging Supervision; check and report the cargo and discharging equipment condition, cargo damages, discharging condition.
– Sampling the cargo on the vessel hold and at warehouse; and send the sample to laboratory for analysis.
– Weight Monitoring; attending at port and receiver weight-bridge to record the cargo weighing.
– Retained the samples in certain period and if any disputes in analysis result, assist to submit the sample to intended laboratory for retesting.
– Monitoring of cargo custody transfer from warehouse to warehouse; includes weight / out turn quantity, sampling and damage report.
– On Hire / Off Hire Survey; to determine the quantity on Bunker Remaining On Board when commencing or completion ship charter period and ship’s general condition.
– Cargo Damage Survey; Condition of goods, Nature, Cause and Extent of Damage to Cargo
– Hold Cleanliness; check the ship hold condition prior loading the cargo.
– Inspection of Various Liquids and Measuring, Tank ullage and innage, sampling.
– Tallying Survey; counting the cargo out turn especially for bagging cargo.
– Cargo Measurement; measure total volume of cargo prior loading on to vessel.
